Wink Eller a 24-year veteran in the motorcycle world, is known within the industry for the craftsmanship and performance of his custom-made cycles. Throughout the years Eller has shown that his machines are a sublime mélange of form and function, winning critical and commercial appeal for the beauty of his bikes and gaining rock solid industry approval with over 40 land speed records, 14 of which have yet to be broken. His talents have netted him numerous media appearances, including magazine, television, and film. Wink was recently hurt in a crash and his many friends and admirers came to help give him both mental and financial support to get through his operations. According to several reports, including founding partner Robert Wright’s and online retailer Karmaloop’s Twitter feeds, LRG’s co-founder Jonas Bevacqua, 34, was found dead today of an apparent heart attack in his Los Angeles home. According to a post on Vibe.com: There is little information to report on the cause of this fashion icon’s death, but a confirmation was made this afternoon via Twitter from online clothing store, Karmaloop, a carrier of LRG. “Our thoughts & prayers go out to the loved ones of Jonas, co-founder of LRG. We’re deeply saddened by this news. Rest in Peace.” – via @Karmaloop on Twitter Bevacqua, who is a native of Southern California, developed LRG alongside Co-Founder and business partner Robert Wright in 1999. In an interview with HypeBeast at the beginning of May, Bevacqua described LRG as an independent, family-operation, apparel company with multicultural roots, delighting in the collaborations between their extended family of professional athletes, artists, and musicians.
